Nature tells stories in colors, light, and shadows - and my landscapes capture these fleeting moments of beauty. This portion of the Portfolio is dedicated to landscape paintings, done in either Oil paints or Acrylics. Usually painting from photos that I have taken throughout my travels, I deviate quite a bit from the photo at hand and take creative liberties with my application and exploration of color and texture. Light and atmosphere are also important aspects of what I focus on, paying attention to luminosity and brightness of the scene.
